Once upon a time, a fair lady visited a forest and met a bumbling bee. The bumbling bee warned the lady of a creature. "Be careful he is a monster!" The lady got scared and avoided the said creature whenever she went to visit the forest.
The lady met the creature they called a monster and observed from a far. The creature tried to start a conversation with the lady for many times but the lady was too scared because of the warning from the bumbling bee.
One day, the creature said hi to the lady but instead of fleeing away, this time she stayed and talked with the creature. The creature beguiled the lady with his many stories. Later on they came together to that same place to tell stories about their adventures.
Little by little the creature transformed from a monster to a hero in her eyes. She fell in love with the creature and craved more to be with him. They spent more time together in the same place everyday. It became their routine. The fair lady fell deeper and deeper each day to the creature's spell on her.
One day, they finally confessed what they felt for each other. They were happy together in their special place.
But nothing is constant. Everything changes.
That day, the lady offered her heart to the creature. Pure and true. The creature accepted the lady's heart and held it in his hands.
The lady watched in horror as the creature squeezed her heart on his hands. The creature threw it on the ground and stomped hard on it, then turned away. Time stopped for the lady as she watched it happen right before her eyes.
She convinced herself it was just a dream. Looking at her heart beaten on the ground. She waited for her "hero" to come and wake her up from the nightmare.
Alas he never came.
The lady picked her heart and started looking for the creature. There he was, laughing his heart out with some fairies of the forest. She watched from afar. Her heart bled more from the sight.
She tried to catch his attention by whispering in the wind. But it fell to deaf ears. He was busy with the pretty fairies. After a lot of tears shed, the lady could clearly see the monster they warned her about. But she can never forget the hero she saw in the creature. She still loved him.
Even after what he did, the lady still loves him. Could never hate him, for it was her choice to risk giving her heart to the monster she once thought was a hero.
She watched him as he laughed his heart out with his fairies. The lady then left him to his happiness. Right there and then she decided to just love him from afar. Let him be happy with his fairies.
She will just enjoy the forest as she first planned. Heart broken but still overflowing with love to give.
The creature is still in the forest playing with the fairies. No one really knows why he did that to the lady. Was he just bored? Was he really a monster? No one really knows why and what happened.
This we know, the lady is travelling the forest trying to find happiness in what she has. Enjoying the kiss of the sun on her tear stained cheeks. Feeling the breeze touch her face , just like a kiss from the forest telling her it loves her. Once in a while a tear falls down her cheeks when she remembers the creature and sees from a far the place they used to meet. She knows in her heart, the creature will never return there.
There's no other choice for her but to keep moving forward and hope that one day, someone will accept and take care of her broken beaten heart.
