The bombing stopped at the moment but i can still hear explosion and continues gunfire. But accross Manila at the end of this highway EDSA, report says the bombing is still on going...

Manila bay is where the intense battle is happening. Filipinos are trying to hold off a huge army entering through the bay. Chinese are still bombing Manila bay, and paratroopers are still coming.

General Clark. Can you tell as what is happening right now at Manila. With Chinese invasion of the Philippines.

yes...Anderson. Because I can only tell you military strategy, and we are not at manila.

So Anderson...Manila is bombed at around 8:30 evening wednesday there. Chinese version of our nighthawk planes. These are planes that cannot be detected by radars. Report says around 24 of these planes drops bombs at the heart of the manila. We got the intelligence that around 4 am our time, 4 pm philippine time. The Chinese naval force arrive at manila bay. Chinese say thay it composed of one aircraft carrier, 5 big battleships, 20 support battleships, 12 submarines and 10 ships that carries 20 to 30 thousands soldiers.But only around 8:30 that they start the invasions. At around 10 pm, planes carrying 10 thousand more soldiers paratroops arrived. Nevi said that paratroopers are still coming as we speak, these is probably the second batch, i think carries around 5000 more paratroopers.

So general Clark, manila right now is annihalated?...

By number of troops, aircraft, naval force. Manila right now is in total destruction.

Why China doing this?.

This is the 'shock n awe' the Chinese are using. They launch a huge number of their forces. Probably 1/4 of total military strenght of China is at manila right now.

I will cut you at the moment general, as we have now report at UN headquarters as member nation of security council are having a emergency meeting.

Craig...so whats the latest there?

Anderson...as of the moment meeting is at a stand still. US, France and Great Britain is pushing for UN forces to be at aide to Manila. This means that the whole member nations is asked to help to produced military forces, just in the case in Korean war. But Russia had already opposed this, as they claim that China is also a member nation. Ambassador from Russia's speech, 'that UN can't commit the whole member nation against it's member nation. And that aide for Philippines, since its a war between two nation, would be from their ally nation only'.
Remember Anderson...both Russia and China are permanent member of the security council of the UN and they both use their veto against the creation of UN forces for the Philippines.

So what do you think would be the decision of the security council?

As of the moment...the meeting is adjourn for 10 minutes. But by the look of it, there would be no help for the Philippines from the United Nation.

Back with general Clark here at studio. So if UN will not help the Phiilippines. The US had to help. Since we had signed a treaty with Philippines. We had to oblige by it.

Here's the thing...you see, if we've come to help the Philippines, we would be at war with China as well. Then we dont know who allies with the Chinese, probably the Russians, or other countries who opposed american foreign policy. Like Iran, would ally to China.
Then we have our own allies.

Are we on the verge of a world war 3?

I think that's what they try to resolve at security council right now. To avoid more countries to be involve. To make this war between those two countries only."
