Our Little Secret: Childhood Memories Part 2
Tito Tooper would always volunteer to babysit me as my mom would always be away on a job hunt. Me and Tito Tooper would always play on the wooden swing in the garden. He'd be the one pushing me from behind, sometimes whenever I'm wearing a dress, he would swing me extra high and rush in front of me just to watch me scream in glee. Back then, I wasn't conscious of him at all. I was totally oblivious to the fact that his eyes were dead set on the flying hem of my dress. My cotton panties. And my white, smooth legs.

One time, we were sitting on the sofa watching T.V. and I confided in him that I was crushing on boy that lives across the street of our compound. He suddenly hugged me and kissed my forehead. He then said, "Eh dapat si Tito lang love mo. Promise me, si Tito lang. Okay?"
Me: Cute naman yun Tito. Tsaka mabait.
Him: Sino mas cute at mabait? Si Tito o yun?
I laughed and hugged him back.
Me: Siyempre, ikaw.
Him: O, so dapat ako lang love mo. OKay?
I innocently nodded. And we stayed that way for quite sometime while watching T.V. He was silent and then he called my name.
I looked up at him with big doey eyes and he gave me a peck on the lips. It was quick, but it sent my heart racing.
Him: I love you… Love mo ba si Tito?
I was still looking at him. I felt my face was hot.
Me: O-po.
He just smiled and hugged me again.
Him: Sige. Gawan kita ng snack.
With that… he stood up and left the room.
I was still flustered. And I think… it was the time I began to be wary of him. There was some strange feeling I couldn't shake off. Tingly, at the same time exciting. I… liked it. I touched my lips, traced the lingering warmth to where our lips met, and wondered… Will he do it again?
