I was faithful.

I gave my wife a long, torrid kiss as if we were in our honeymoon phase. I've married her for ten beautiful years with one adorable son. My wife is such a lovely human being.

Habang nagmumuni kung paano ko susurpresahin si Lorraine sa susunod na date namin, an unregistered number popped on my phone.

"Naku pare, di lang naman ikaw ang nakatali dito ano. Sadyang inlove ka masyado sa asawa mo, kita mo, three years from now. You'll end up like us" sagot ng isa sa mga kaibigan ko. Hiwalay sa asawa. May dalawang anak pero papalit palit ng babae.

Nagpanting ang tenga ko sa narinig. What an asshole! Nakakuyom ang aking kamao at pinilit na ngumiti. Nakainom na ang mga gago. Kung ano ano na ang pinagsasabi.

Jason stared at me with a meaningful look; I don't want to be fucking asshole too and end the night early, so I'll try to let it pass this time. Only this time. Motherfucker's mouth won't be spared next time we're out.

I just smiled. "I'm more loyal than you think," The group responded with an endless laugh and continued with their conversation. I'm exchanging messages with my dear wife.

"Pare, Anong oras na? Sigurado ka ba na dadating yung mga putahe na inorder mo?"

"Oo naman, bayad na yun. Naka upfront payment na ako doon. "

Anong putahe ba naman ang pinagsasabi ng dalawang ito? Wait, wait,….Damn, I immediately turn to my bestfriend for a confirmation. He gave me that look again. Fuck, I mouthed" What about Celine? "

He did not respond. Mga gago talaga, di na nagbago. Idadamay pa ako sa kagaguhan nila. I'm way over that phase or so i thought.

"I'm going home" ani ko at tumayo. Their smiles faded when i stand up and passed them and went straight to stairs. Hinarangan naman ako ng mga kaibigan.

"Pre, ang KJ mo pa rin. We were just joking."

"I am sorry, dre. Nakainom lang but seriously, it's been years since we had this gathering. Pagbigyan mo naman ako"

I looked at them intently. Bunch of idiots. Jason and the rest of the group were my Elementary classmates and high school friends kaya kilala ko ang mga likaw ng bituka nila.

"Gago" I muttered. They laughed once again and teased me that I should have been a priest and accepted the offer. Oh, what a bunch of idiots. Jason, Rico, and Michael were my childhood friends, and Norman, and Steven were my high school friends.

Inakay naman nila ako pabalik sa second floor.

"Wag niyo ako isama sa mga kagaguhan niyo" sigaw ko dahil sa lakas nang musika.

Bumalik ako sa pwesto at tinext ang asawa ko na di ako makakauwi. Binigyan naman nila ako ng alak. Habang abala ang iba sa paghihintay daw ng mga "putahe" ay nandoon ako sa sulok at inieenjoy ang musika.

I saw Jason smirk and approach me. He breathed in my left ear, " Iba ang tawag ng laman,pre. Once you get a taste of it, it's fucking irresistible. Hahanap hanapin mo" and continued drinking. He did not wait for my response and baka maulit pa yung ginawa ko sa kanya, two fucking years ago. I know that he knows I'm still fuming mad at him for what he did to his wife.

Lorraine and his ex-wife are good friends, kaya nung sumabog ang balita na nahuli ng asawa niya ang tarantado sa mismong kwarto nilang mag asawa ay napatiim ang aking bagang. What a fucking loser.
