Edward Marshall was just waking up from his cozy bed and mostly due to the irritating sound of his alarm clock. He looks around..may 12 2089 standard time is 7:45.hmmmmmmm

Fortunately,it was easy to gain a million in this times.ever since earth and all the nations were formed into one government it was easier for the growth of the rest of the earth. And of course the han colonies in the other systems. That ms to faster-than-light or FTL travel. It was easy to colonize planets.along with terraforming and AI tech humanity was now advanced and more progressive. Or was it?

"Would you like me to come sir" the AI said "well of course go into my phone so we can roll" he said. "I'll lock the house down first" then the AI conducted a few security checks then transferred himself to Edwards phone."I'm in sir.house secured."the AI said."good lets roll!" Then they left the house.

"Sir I advise we take the light trains" James suggested "HELL NO" Edward said. Light trains were very fast trains using a bit of FTL they can travel 400 km/h. Not recommended for People who have sickness or just can't take very high speeds. Light trains were all the earth. A trip from manila to London would take no more than 30 mins in a light train.
"No choice sir.unless you wanna take the porter" James knew what Edward hated so much..porters.or teleporters.
"Fine let's take the light train. " john grumbled and he ran,there was nearby light train station in his location. This line was spread across the. American sector.nations were now sectors.governed by the United earth directorate.

They were late to catch the current light train and were forced to wait 5 minutes before the next one arrived.Edward ingested a flower, the flower is not a plant,rather a pill the makes People unervous.and riding a light train makes Edward very very nervous. The train arrived like lightning. "Its 7:56 sir" James said.with all haste Edward boarded the light train.
."all passengers strap yourselves in. Be advised that we are not responsible for any broken ribs or dislocated bones if you fail to strap in.please have a great day we will leave in 10 seconds."the train operator said "great "Jon muttered"
"Oh boy" Edward thought. Then without warning the light train speeds away."next stop manila. Philippine sector "

After 10 mins of near FTL travel. The train from California(Edwards home) arrived in manila station. Edwards stepped out a bit dizzy and almost threw but he saw a clock 8:06am "damn" Edward ran for it and then went to a nearby jeepney terminal,surprising as it is.the pinoy jeepneys were still kings of the street.though it was exactly like what they looked like before.it was still a jeepney. A mainstay even in the space colonization age. For the Filipino People,it was good to say that their jeepneys survived a long long time it made them proud.

After the run of his life arrived at his destination. The Philippines space industry inc., a manufacturer of civilian spaceships. And notable to say.one of the leading in terms of quality.
"Mr Marshall!" A clerk said."I'm Richard samaniego.manager of this branch."oh so he wasn't a clerk "you want to see her?" The manager asked "I've been waiting my while life for her my whole life" Edward said"well shes in the back"

The crate is a civilian spaceship.it looked like a space shuttle from the 21st century but bigger and more elegant.she had 3 boosters in her back and a lot of thurster in her side and front.she is a beauty.but in terms of luxury.she was merely a rock. But she was cheap. 500,000 credits. It only had one weapon a DT860 "David" cannon.and Edward knows firing a cannon if not necessary will break a shit load of regulations and rules that he can stay in prison for life.the DT was there just in case a pirate attacks.there were lots of pirates these days.

"There she is".the manager said" she's all yours. But first I'll need your space license, your forms certifying you are qualified to be a captain of this ship.biodata, UED-ISB clearance. UED form 35. 2 ID from your sector. And license to own a spaceship"the manager asked.to own a spaceship.you need a lot of papers.Edward gave him a envelope full of papers and forms.,"Richard I would like my AI James to check it with me" ed said."sure go ahead here is her keys and activating card. God bless and congrats" they shook hands and the manager went away.

"All systems functional. Engines online, shield on standby,Hull status at 100%,Thruster and maneuver systems online,landing mechanism and communications online.weapons on standby and safety,all system are good" James said on the speaker"the only thing we need is a first mate sir."the AI said. First mates were required before anyone can leave the planet."dont worry I texted her.shell be up at no time.James set coordinates to Houston Space port."
Edward said smiling.he finally have a spaceship. Ever since he was a kid.he dreamed of being captain of a spaceship. And when he was working.he saved up for both this and James.now he resigned from his work andgot a big ass resignation pay. Which he needed for this ship and its papers.but it was worthy gamble for him."coordinates said.one more thing.what is the name of the ship captain sir?"Edward had already the perfect name "Name her…."

And cut hahahaha so I'm gonna check muna your reactions and suggestions.
